Funding The Delapre Abbey Restoration Project
Once the restoration has been completed and the Abbey opened to the public, the Trust will need to generate income from admissions, events, function hire, retail, and catering to cover its running costs, continue to conserve the building and develop future plans to further restore the building and bring more parts of it back into long-term use.

There has been just over £7m spent on helping make phase 1 a reality. Some of this has been spent on the physical restoration works and some on the Delapré Abbey Preservation Trust creating plans, including activity, interpretation, and operations to bring the Abbey back to life.

Fundraising
The above shows you some projects where we are looking for some help to fundraise towards items. They can start from a small donation of £50 for the Book Appeal in the Library, and go up to £24,000 to support the Battle of Northampton interactives.
There are also opportunities for businesses to contribute towards sponsorships at the Abbey - see the Gold and Platinum packages - that would ensure excellent facilities and use of the space for the duration of the offer.
